FOCUS – “Families of Communities Uniting Schools”
Mission Statement: “We, the members of Focus, are committed to helping maintain a quality education for the families of our communities.”

Members include parents/guardians of Hilltop Elementary students, Hilltop Staff, and any interested community member. There are currently 18 – 20 members.

We meet about 5 times a year at Hilltop Elementary.

We participate in the Block Party in the fall, Customer Appreciation Party in Dec., Henderson Clean-Up Day, Teacher Appreciation Day, Hilltop Open House, and Hilltop Book Fair.

Our goals are to save Box tops for Education, Campbell Soup labels (and other specific labels), and milk caps, all which help fund projects at Hilltop.

Some of our many accomplishments are sponsoring Hilltop Open House, cash donations to teacher’s classroom purchases, subscriptions for classroom magazines and newspapers, donating to “I Love to Read Month”, purchasing playground equipment for Hilltop, and purchasing desks for the 5th and 6th grade classrooms at Hilltop!
