Our mission statement: We are a non-profit organization committed to the improvement and development of services offered by the Henderson Public Library.Membership requirements include yearly dues of $5.00 to $25.00. We have 8 active members and ARE HOPING FOR MORE VOLUNTEERS!!
We meet at the Henderson Public Library on the 3rd Monday of the month at 7:00P.M.
Events we sponsor are the Annual Holiday Tea in December and Garden Lectures held at various times. We participate in other activities in the community as well.
Our goal is to promote use of the Henderson Public Library and aid in purchasing books, and paying for reading programs for children and adults.
Our accomplishments include: raising enough money to furnish the new addition, and providing educational programs (Story Time and Garden Lectures.)
