Henderson Lions Club

“We serve” is the Lions’ motto. Our mission statement is: to create and foster a spirit of understanding among all people for humanitarian needs by providing volunteer services through community involvement and international cooperation.

The club has a concession/equipment stand at Bender Park, and it sells concessions throughout the baseball/softball season. They also participate in Sauerkraut Days and the annual Block Party.

Some of their accomplishments include: helping to fund new playground equipment for local parks, aiding the Bloodmobile, continued operation of the Lions Field at Bender Park, participating in Santa’s Helpers, sight and hearing programs, and anti-drug programs.
