Heritage Preservation Commission
The Henderson Heritage Preservation Commission is dedicated to a comprehensive program of historic preservation promoting the use and conservation of historic properties for the education, inspection, pleasure and enrichment of this community.
The Commission is appointed by the Henderson City Council under the historic preservation ordinance established in 1999.
The Commission has completed a survey of all properties within the city of Henderson for consideration of local or national designation of historic significance.
Technical assistance with maintaining our local historic properties is available through the Commission, working with the Minnesota State Office of Historic Preservation. The Commission works to fund projects through grants and donations.
